Watching Noddy...

While watching Noddy yesterday H referred to Noddy's friend as Big Head... too cute!

Hoobaloos...

Today H announced that maybe I could buy her a pink hooplahoo, it was then restated as a hoobaloo!  Any ideas what she was talking about?   Yep... a hoola hoop!

How did I get in your tummy?

We were looking at belly buttons and H asked... 'How did I get in your tummy?'

I'm okay with telling a nearly 3yr old how she and others come out... but not with how she got in there... not just yet anyway!

Can anyone help me with an explanation?

Birthday Bash?

We watched about 30 Sulphur Crested Cockatoos flying over our yard this morning, making a huge ruckus... They all landed in a massive pine in our neighbour's yard... we watched them for a while, then H exclaimed..'Maybe they are having a Birthday party!'.

Cute!

H watched Dad shaving his face in its entirety this morning.  When he had finished, she said... 'You look beautiful and shiny Dad!'

So cute!

Bad TV reception!

Its been a while since she has said something really hilarious... and anyway... I have been pretty busy!

Here goes...

Being the hillbillies that we are, we don't get the best reception...  Today H announced... 'The TV is a bit skew whiff, it needs more petrol doesn't it Mum!'

My name is....

So, I think I told you a while back that H had decided she was going to change her name.  Well, she changed it to Penny, and has been Penny the last few weeks.  We always call her by her real name, and usually the reply is 'my names not H, its Penny!'

Anyway... over the last week, she has also been Polly and Bella... where these other names are coming from I don't know.

Today at the supermarket with Dad, she did her usual thing of asking people what their name is, what their nick name is, and when they asked her what her name is, the reply was 'Um... I don't know'.  It seems we are between names at the moment!
